BLINK won’t return to Cincinnati until 2026, but you can relive some of the illuminated fun from past festivals at a special event in Over-the-Rhine this week.

On Thursday, Oct. 16, BLINK artists and alumni will host “Illuminate Losantiville,” a free event featuring art installations in the studio space above Northern Row Brewery, Distillery and Taproom. This space, Losantiville, is also where some of BLINK’s past pieces were constructed.

Illuminate Losantiville runs from 6-10 p.m. and will showcase large art pieces by BLINK alumni and other creative collaborators, including four art pieces seen at BLINK 2024:

  • Future Findlay by Daniel Shields
  • Spiraluminance by Jessica Wolf of Paper Acorn
  • Serenade of Light by Kemper Sauce Studios
  • A version of The Cathedral by Evan Verrilli

Attendees can also meet other artists and see their imaginations at work, enjoy live music and an LED DJ booth from Cincy Nice and a table where you can learn more about the 2026 edition of BLINK

Artists and creatives can also learn more about Losantiville’s studio and workspace, which is accepting new members.

“This studio made it possible for me to create my art piece at Findlay Market for BLINK 2024. That installation was 360 feet long and without this big open workspace with tall ceilings, it would never have been possible,” Shields said in a press release. “We’re doing this event as a way to give back to the community and highlight this studio, which has fostered so much creativity over the years.”

To access the Illuminate Losantiville, take Northern Row’s freight elevator to the fourth floor. All ages are welcome.
