On Jan. 22, the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Tennessee Titans 19-16 in a thrilling AFC Divisional Round, sending the franchise to their first AFC Championship game since 1988.
Bengals rookie kicker Evan McPherson sealed the win with a 52-yard field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter. Following the heroic play, the people of Cincinnati have found a new infatuation and respect for the young Bengal.
One more win and the Bengals are in the Super Bowl. The team takes on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game on Jan. 30. McPherson and the rest of Bengals have a hard fight ahead.
