With kid-friendly parades, live music, plenty of kegs and eggs served up bright and early, Irish dancing lessons, dog-friendly celebrations, drink specials and more, there is a little something for everyone this holiday weekend.

Saint Patricks at The Pub

Molly Malones is the closest you can get to the full Irish experience without paying for a flight ticket. This corner of Covington turns into Dublin on Sunday when Molly Malones goes big for Saint Patricks Day. Everything kicks off with kegs and eggs at 7 a.m. If youre one of the first 100 people through the door, you get a souvenir shirt. Then spend the rest of the day on all three floors of the space, and in an outdoor tent, drinking Irish beers, eating Irish food, watching Irish dancers and listening to Irish bands. And, of course, in Irish fashion, Mollys will have The Emerald Society Police & Fire, Pipes & Drums playing sounds of Ireland throughout the day and a group of Irish dancers as well. A new law in Covington allows bars to sell alcohol as early as 6 a.m. on Sundays during special events, with permission. Great news for this Sunday Saint Patricks Day.7 a.m.-midnight, March 17. The Cincinnati St. Patricks Day Parade steps off for its 53rd year on Saturday March 16. The parade begins at Paul Brown Stadium, crosses Mehring Way to Great American Ball Park, then rounds down Freedom Way to Rosa Parks Street. Starts promptly at noon March 16. Free.
