Graeter’s Ice Cream and Braxton Brewing Co.’s seasonal collaboration beer Pumpkin Pie Ale returns this September, and they’re throwing a party to celebrate the release of one of their tastiest creations.
First released in 2018, the 6.5% ABV ale offers “rich, warm notes of pumpkin reminiscent of Graeter’s classic seasonal Pumpkin Ice Cream,” says a press release. With pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and a dash of lactose to evoke a taste of pie crust, the ale embodies the flavor and feeling of fall.
The weekend-long party takes place Sept. 13-15 at Covington’s Braxton Brewing. Friday will kick off with pumpkin pie lattes and a Graeter’s donuts bar at 7:30 a.m., Saturday’s festivities invites guests to a pumpkin patch release party with Graeter’s Pumpkin Pie ale samplings and on Sunday, the brewery will host a Graeter’s sundae bar from 12-3 p.m.
