One of the city’s favorite food events is back. Cincinnati Wing Week, which offers $8 wing specials from various restaurants in the Greater Cincinnati area, runs from now until this Sunday.
Chicken-loving Cincinnatians can head to one of over 40 restaurants to get some wings at a major discount, and most participants involved in the promotion have other specials running as well.
Each restaurant — which includes beloved Cincinnati institutions like Arnold’s and Lucius Q — will fry, smoke and sauce their own takes on the beloved appetizer, from signature sauces and dry rubs to secret-menu specialties and chef-inspired creations.
To incentivize guests to try as many places as possible, the team behind Wing Week has created an app that lets you check in at each participating restaurant you visit and earn points. App users who earn a certain number of points or check in to four locations during the week can enter to win prizes like $300 in restaurant gift cards. However, using the app is not required to enjoy some cheap wings at your preferred local joint.
