Cincinnati's Moerlein Lager House to Host Eighth-Annual Holiday Beer Extravaganza

Cincinnati’s Moerlein Lager House is getting in the spirit of the season for its eighth-annual Holiday Beer Extravaganza.

On Saturday, Nov. 16, head to the downtown microbrewery for a day devoted to holiday beers, bites and giving.

The wintery event will offer tastings of 16 local, national and international brews alongside food pairings, plus live music from local musician Sonny Moorman, gift raffles, a holiday keg tapping and a complimentary pint glass to take home.

In addition to drinks, eats and tunes, Moerlein will also be accepting gently used coats and cash donations for nonprofit St. Vincent de Paul, which receives more than 2,000 winter coat donations every year and distributes them to those in need throughout the community.

Tickets to the event cost $40 and include four 4-ounce Moerlein beer samples, four 4-ounce guest beer samples, four food pairings, participation in a keg tapping, a pint glass and a raffle entry. Attendees may purchase additional beer sample tickets at the event.
