Cincinnati brewery Rhinegeist is jumping on the trend of diet-conscious brews with their newest low-cal IPA creation named Mathlete.
The seasonal sipper contains 115 calories and offers aromatic hints of citrus and stone fruit. The hoppy brew has an ABV of 4%, and is available only throughout June and July. With a relatively low alcohol content (compared to other craft beers) and a low calorie count, Mathlete is a sessionable summertime beverage.
“Hit the buzzer, because the numbers are in: this is the most flavor you can fit into a 115 calorie IPA. Crisp, refreshing, and unaccountably hoppy — you don’t need a TI-84 to know Mathlete is a sum greater than its parts,” their website reads.
Mathlete is available now in cans and on tap. Locate a store, restaurant or bar that carries the brew here.
Rhinegeist’s taproom is currently closed after several employees tested positive for COVID-19, but will reopen at noon on June 25.
