A new upscale restaurant and winery is opening on the West Side next week.
Cooper’s Hawk will open its third Greater Cincinnati location in Green Township, located at 6194 Harrison Ave., on Monday, Oct. 13. The Illinois-based restaurant and winery chain is described as an upscale casual eatery that also offers a full-service bar, a private dining room and a Napa-style tasting room. The restaurant offers a sprawling menu of American-fusion fare that features flavors from around the world, including pasta and risotto dishes, seafood, steaks, burgers and sandwiches, plus a handful of vegetarian entrées. Cooper’s Hawk also has an extensive wine portfolio of its own creations, including reds, sparkling wines, sangrias and more, as well as the largest wine club in the United States.
The Green Township location’s culinary team will be led by Jason Findley, who will work closely with the brand’s executive chef, Matt McMillin, and the restaurant will be open for brunch, lunch and dinner and also offer a happy hour. In addition to the menu of contemporary American fare, Cooper’s Hawk also has a kids’ menu and gluten-free menu, and each dish on the menu is listed with a bin number to guide guests to the perfect wine pairing.
Popular dishes include:
Crispy Brussels Sprouts: Cashews, mint, sweet Thai chili and sesame-sriracha aioli. Pairs best with Cooper’s Hawk Moscato (bright, fruity and floral wine with notes of white grape, nectarine, guava and orange blossom).
Trio of Medallions: Horseradish, bleu cheese and parmesan-crusted filet medallions, Mary’s Potatoes and asparagus. Pairs best with Barrel Reserve (bold, full-bodied red blend with layers of dark fruit, warm spices and a velvety finish).
Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon: Wasabi-buttered mashed potatoes and Asian slaw. Pairs best with Cooper’s Hawk Scarletto (Brachetto-style sparkling red with aromas of grape jelly, rose petals, candied cherries and fresh strawberries).
Gnocchi Carbonara: Pancetta, chicken, sage, peas and a parmesan-garlic cream sauce. Pairs best with Cooper’s Hawk Lux Chardonnay (dry, full-bodied palate featuring bright citrus, peach and subtle spice notes).
Drunken Shrimp: Bacon-wrapped shrimp, tequila-lime butter sauce and fresh guacamole. Pairs best with Abrillante (100% Verdejo varietal, offering a fresh, dry palate with bright acidity and flavors of tangerine, nectarine and grapefruit).

Cooper’s Hawk’s winery has won over 600 awards and features a selection of wines for all palates, from accessible options for those new to wine and complex and full-bodied options for more seasoned drinkers. The menu also offers a variety of craft cocktails and sangrias.
The Green Township restaurant can seat up to 329 guests in its dining room, plus an additional 56 on the covered patio. There is also a flexible private dining space for up to 48 guests.
“Guests can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere with natural wood tones, cozy fabrics and modern touches that celebrate both Midwest roots and wine country elegance. It’s the perfect setting for a relaxed yet elevated dining experience,” the brand said in a press release.
After Oct. 13, Cooper’s Hawk will be open daily, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. You can make reservations on OpenTable or by calling 513-258-2800.
