Crown Republic Gastropub to Host Sandwich Pop-Up This December

Young Buck Deli's pop-up will feature hearty sandwiches that combine traditional favorites with new flavors and skilled butchery.

A Cincinnati delicatessen pop-up will be setting up shop in a downtown restaurant on Tuesdays in December.

Cincinnati culinary couple and butcher/chef duo Brian and Caitlin Young, who met on the set of season 16 of Bravo’s Top Chef, will bring their Young Buck Sandwich Pop-Up to Crown Republic Gastropub on Dec. 5, 12 and 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The pop-up will feature a curated menu of hearty sandwiches that combine traditional deli favorites with innovative flavors and skilled butchery.

“We’re thrilled to pop up at Crown Republic Gastropub for the holiday season,” Brian Young said in a press release. “The goals and mission of Crown Group and our new startup have a lot of overlap and we’re excited to showcase our vision for quality deli sandwiches.”

Brian Young’s relationship with Crown Restaurant Group (CRG), which owns Crown Republic, began in August 2022 when he worked with another CRG restaurant, Losanti.

“From the moment I met Brian and Caitlin, I knew there was a special spark that we wanted to be part of,” CRG owner and chef Anthony Sitek said in the release. “Our goal since opening Crown Republic was to always look out for talent and passionate individuals who want to bring something new to our growing culinary scene.”
