A new dessert shop in Hyde Park is celebrating its grand opening this weekend.
The Peach Cobbler Factory, a chain of dessert shops best known for its Southern-style desserts, will have a new franchise location at Hyde Park Station on Edwards Road. Co-owners Keith Noel and his daughters, Halle Noel Gusweiler and Carly Noel, also own the location in Anderson Township, which just opened in November.
“We have been very pleased with the community support of our first store at Anderson Towne Center and we’re excited to now bring our premium desserts to Hyde Park and the surrounding areas. This is the next step as we build several Peach Cobbler Factory stores throughout the area,” Keith Noel said in a press release.
The Peach Cobbler Factory offers 12 different kinds of cobbler, as well as dessert flights, banana puddings, cookies, shakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls, churros and Belgian waffles.
“We offer a break from our busy and stressed world. We believe people deserve to treat themselves with our delicious desserts,” Halle Noel Gusweiler added.
The store hosted a soft opening Wednesday and will have a grand opening celebration Saturday, Jan. 27 from noon to 5 p.m. Visitors can expect kids activities; appearances from mascot Mr. Peachy, as well as Who Dey and Mr. Redlegs; a magician from noon to 2:30 p.m.; and a face painter from 2:30-5 p.m.
The Hyde Park Peach Cobbler Factory will be open daily from noon to 10 p.m. Third-party delivery options will be available until midnight or 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays for a late-night treat.
The team says they are planning two more stores for the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.
