For one week only, you can try a new summer-inspired pizza from Dewey’s that’s just peachy.
The Peach Street Pizza recipe was crafted by Kennedy Yates, a Grandview Dewey’s crew member, during the pizza chain’s internal Recipe Battle competition. Dewey’s will launch the pizza during a one-week trial starting Tuesday, July 30 and running through Monday, Aug. 5, or while supplies last. It’ll be available at all Dewey’s locations.
The pizza features a blend of sweet and savory, with olive oil, mozzarella, fontina, fresh basil, Vidalia onions, prosciutto and white wine-infused peaches. It was one of four winning pizza recipes during the Recipe Battle. Dewey’s says it received more than 50 entries during the spring contest and awarded more than $1,200 in prizes.
“The Recipe Battle is an internal contest that our team members look forward to,” David Igel, head of product innovation, said in a press release. “It’s an opportunity for our team members to showcase their creativity and the contest creates positive energy and fun throughout our company. We were thrilled with the variety of flavors presented by the teams.”
The remaining winning pizza recipes will be released in 2025, says Dewey’s.
Dewey’s is also running its Strawberry Macadamia Nut Salad and Arugula Prosciutto Pizza for a limited time. To see the menu or find a Dewey’s near you, visit deweyspizza.com.
