Scorching summer days are steadily approaching, and one surefire sign of seasonal change is the return of Dojo Gelato’s Northside creamy whip.
To celebrate its opening day, local Trash Pop and Punk bands Tweens and the Raging Nathans, respectively, will be performing and Dojo’s Northside neighbor, Urban Artifact, will be donating beer as flavorful as that silky handcrafted gelato.
Gobble up classic flavors like sea salt caramel and Vietnamese coffee or indulge in the Cardi B: rum gelato with cardamom brownies. The Park diner will also be serving eats.
All proceeds from beer sales at this fabulously frigid event benefit Northside nonprofit Visionaries + Voices, which provides opportunities for artists with disabilities.
6-9 p.m. Saturday (March 23). Free admission. Dojo Gelato, 1735 Blue Rock St., Northside, facebook.com/dojogelatonorthside.
