A downtown lunchtime staple has closed its doors. Burrito Joe’s served the Queen City for 25 years, offering “handmade, fast and fresh” Mexican dishes and building a fiercely loyal following of hungry fans.
The eatery officially closed on Dec. 31, and announced the news via their Facebook page.
The fast food restaurant offered a variety of made-to-order menu items, including burritos, bowls, tacos, nachos and salads, plus specialty burritos like their popular buffalo chicken.
The community flooded the post offering kind words, support and memories, along with their favorite dishes they will miss.
