Rhinegeist is partnering with the Cincinnati Open to serve beer to tennis fans traveling to the Queen City from around the world, with a special new release to match.

To highlight the tournament’s Cincinnati heritage, Cincy Light has been named the official local craft beer sponsor of the 2026 Cincinnati Open, and Rhinegeist will be releasing a limited-edition 19.2 oz. can of their flagship light lager to commemorate the tournament.

“Every year, the Cincinnati Open commands the tennis world’s attention and is known to be the most accessible tournament on tour, celebrated by fans and players alike,” said Rhinegeist’s CEO Adam Bankovich in a statement. “Rhinegeist was founded on the belief that beer holds the power to bring people together. Through this lens of camaraderie, we are partnering with the Cincinnati Open to share our mutual passion for our hometown to fans and players from near and far.”

For those unaware, the Cincinnati Open is one of the largest tennis tournaments in the world. It takes place from Aug. 8-23 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, located at 6100 Legacy Park Way in Mason, right outside of Cincinnati. The tournament features a large roster of well-known players and a full schedule of matches and auxiliary activities for attendees.

From Cincinnati Open branded cans to an on-site bar, Rhinegeist will bring an authentic local flavor to this year’s tournament while enhancing the fan experience,” said Cincinnati Open Tournament Director Bob Moran.
