Late-night diners in Over-the-Rhine will soon have a brand new option.
The New Jersey-based chain restaurant Flamin’ Feathers, which specializes in Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, wings and wagyu burgers, will soon open at the former B&A Street Kitchen space at 1500 Race Street. Notably, their menu is 100% halal.
Local real estate broker and former restaurateur Nick Pesola of Coldwell Banker Commercial brought the chicken chain to the space, which signed a ten-year lease for the building. It has sat empty for three years in one of OTR’s most prime real estate locations; the building sits on the corner of Race & 15th Street, is located across from the Greek restaurant Fillo and the brewery Mellotone Beer Project and is next door to the popular Italian restaurant Pepp & Dolores.
While there are no other details yet about the opening of Flamin’ Feathers in Cincinnati or its operating hours, its New Jersey locations are all open past midnight. Their menu features plenty of spicy items, including the aforementioned Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, wings and wagyu burgers alongside other dishes like loaded mac ‘n’ cheese, tacos, tenders, mozzarella sticks, fries and milkshakes.
