One of Cincinnati’s largest restaurant spaces finally has a new tenant.
The former BrewDog space at 316 Reading Road in Pendleton will soon be occupied by Coco Moon, a Mexican-Asian fusion restaurant by day and a Latin dance club by night.
At 8,500 square feet, it will be one of the largest restaurant and bar spaces in the city.
Cincinnati real estate agent and restaurateur Neil Neff signed a 52-month lease for the space in partnership with brokerage firm 3CRE‘s Sina Danesh. (3CRE’s Mike Costantini represented the building’s landlord in the deal.) Currently, Neff operates the Mexican restaurant Los Patrones in Delhi Township.
Coco Moon’s menu will feature both Asian and Mexican cuisine while also serving up cocktails and providing a unique nightlife experience — it’s hard to imagine anywhere else in the Cincinnati area you could party while holding a plate of General Tso’s chicken and birria tacos.
“It was important to find a tenant that could fully activate and sustain this iconic space. Coco Moon fills a real need by providing additional food options for Pendleton’s daytime workforce while also creating a destination that attracts evening visitors,” Danesh said. “Their unique concept will not only bring new energy to the neighborhood but also provide a welcoming place for Cincinnati’s Hispanic community to gather, enjoy great food, music and dancing.”
Coco Moon is set to open in October. It will be open seven days a week at 11 a.m.; on weekdays, it will close at 10 p.m., but on weekends it will operate until 2:30 a.m.
More details on the restaurant and nightclub will be available at a later date.
