Earlier this month, AGAR, the Cincinnati creative marketing and event agency known for its work on local experiences including the Ubahn Fest, BLINK, Danger Wheel and more, invited neighbors from across the city to head to their front porches for a socially distant happy hour hang-out.
The response to AGAR’s event garnered a much larger participation than they had anticipated, with over 5,000 people total and over 200 from locations ranging from Florida to Italy.
The agency has decided bring the happy hour back, this time encouraging folks to invite their friends and family from across the nation. The party takes place 5 p.m. Friday, April 24.
“It remains AGAR’s mission to keep the human connection strong — we aim to create unity across the country; to encourage a nation-wide bond by doing the same thing at the same time, but in different places,” AGAR said on the Facebook event page.
If you’re interested in joining, RSVP online and to receive your #PourPours party kit. Last event’s kit included a playlist and recipes for cocktails you can make at home.
Participants are encouraged to document their Porch Pour, tag @porchpours on Instagram, @agaragency on Facebook, and hashtag #porchpours to stay connected with everyone.
