A new healthy restaurant is opening in Greater Cincinnati next week. Crisp & Green will celebrate its grand opening at the Anderson Towne Center on Thursday, Oct. 9
Crisp & Green is a chain of healthy, fast-casual restaurants founded by Steele Smiley. Smiley opened the flagship restaurant in downtown Wayzata, Minnesota, in 2016 and it’s since expanded to nearly 50 locations across 16 states. The location in Anderson Township is the first not just in Greater Cincinnati, but also Ohio.
The restaurant’s menu focuses on chef-crafted items, with a selection of signature salads, wraps made with low-net-carb tortillas, grain bowls, açaí bowls and smoothies, as well as build-your-own options. Ingredient and flavor profiles range from Mediterranean, like the “AHH…GREEK OUT!” bowl, featuring roasted chicken, cucumbers, feta, olives and red wine vinaigrette, to Southwestern, like the Wild Wild Southest salad, topped with items like roasted chicken, black beans, fire-roasted corn, cilantro and creamy southwestern dressing and Asian-inspired, like the Japanese BBQ wrap, with romaine, roasted chicken, Napa cabbage, carrots, avocado, crispy wontons, sesame seeds, Japanese BBQ sauce and teriyaki dressing.
And to celebrate its grand opening, on Oct. 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Crisp & Green will host a free food event where guests can get a complimentary signature salad, wrap or grain bowl. The restaurant will also host a Wellness Series event on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a free group walk and meditation.
