Two of Cincinnati’s most iconic flavors are reuniting for a limited time. LaRosa’s Montgomery Inn Pizza and Rondos are back on the menu, rekindling a partnership that first started almost 20 years ago.
“Our collaboration with Montgomery Inn has always been about celebrating two exceptional flavors that define our city. The return of Montgomery Inn Pizza and Rondos is a tribute to the Gregory family’s recipe and an opportunity for our guests to enjoy Cincinnati’s favorite pizza and barbecue together again,” Mark LaRosa, president and chief culinary officer of LaRosa’s, said in a press release.
The pizza features a combination of Montgomery Inn’s sweet and tangy barbecue sauce, provolone cheese and pulled pork or chicken. And the rondos – oven-baked spiral rolls made of pizza dough – are infused with a creamy garlic-pesto sauce and filled with provolone cheese before being topped with pulled pork or chicken and drizzled with Montgomery Inn barbecue sauce.
“We understand the deep connection our guests have with these distinctive tastes,” LaRosa said. “The return of Montgomery Inn Pizza and Rondos is a testament to our commitment to honoring our city’s rich culinary traditions.”
Lovers of the Cincinnati pizza-barbecue combo can get these items from now until October at any LaRosa’s pizzeria throughout the Tri-State.
