For the third year, Listermann Brewing Company is hosting an event to celebrate International Women’s Day.
On Feb. 1, Listermann hosted a community brew day inviting all women — not just seasoned or home brewers — to help brew a Berliner Weisse called Ceres, which will be released in four-packs and on draft for International Women’s Day, March 8. The four-pack can art will also feature work from four local female artists.
On Friday, Listermann will host an event at the taproom to commemorate the release where $1 from every pint sold will be donated to Women Helping Women, a local nonprofit organization which assists survivors of dating, sexual and domestic violence and stalking. There will also be a raffle for prizes, with ticket proceeds going to WHW.
4-11 p.m. Friday (March 8). Free admission. Listermann Brewing Co., 1621 Dana Ave., Norwood, listermannbrewing.com.
