After postponing their original March 30 opening due to the coronavirus pandemic, Putz’s Creamy Whip in Mt. Airy has officially announced its new opening date for the season — and it’s soon.
The soft serve establishment posted on their Facebook page on May 5 that they are welcoming customers starting Monday, May 11.
In their post, they outline social distancing guidelines they’re setting forth for coronavirus safety precautions.
The family-owned creamy whip has been a summertime staple for over 80 years and serves up soft serve, shakes, sundaes, banana splits, cyclones and other frosty treats, as well as a wide variety of ball park eats like cheese coneys, walking tacos and soft pretzels.
