Madisonville will soon be experiencing a new taste of Europe.
Veteran Cincinnati restaurateur Kevin Armon will open Concorde this summer in the Madamore building, just across the street from Madisonville’s public library.
The European-inspired restaurant will draw from French, Italian and Spanish traditions.

“I’ve always been drawn to the way people gather in Europe, whether it’s for a glass of wine, a few oysters at the bar or a full meal that unfolds over time,” said Armon in a statement. “With Concorde, I wanted to create a space where guests can have a different experience each time they visit, while still feeling that sense of comfort and genuine hospitality.”
Armon brings more than 35 years of experience to the project, with a background that includes stints in Paris, New York, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. In Cincinnati, he is best known for his time at Boca, Nada, Kaze, and Somm Wine Bar.
At Concorde, guests may opt for a glass of wine and charcuterie, oysters and cocktails at the bar or a full dining experience. Dishes include coq au vin, roasted scottish salmon with lemon beurre blanc, oysters rockefeller, sautéed calamari with spanish chorizo, and lumache all’amatriciana.
Armon, who has lived in Madisonville for more than 20 years, sees Concorde as part of the neighborhood’s continued growth and an opportunity to create a restaurant that is built for the community.
Concorde is expected to open in early summer, with additional details on opening events and reservations to be announced in the coming weeks. When it opens, Concorde will operate Tuesday through Thursday from 4-10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 4-11 p.m.
