Nostalgia Wine & Jazz Lounge, the bar and performance space located at 1432 Vine Street in Over-the-Rhine, announced plans for a major expansion today.
Tammie Scott, the bar’s owner, has signed a lease to expand into the neighboring spaces at 1428 and 1430 Vine Street in Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC)’s Behlen building. She is now leasing all three adjacent spaces from 3CDC, more than doubling the lounge’s size from 1,650 square feet to 3,653 square feet.
The expansion will introduce a catering kitchen, additional patio seating, and a dedicated listening room called “The B-Side.”

Inspired by Cincinnati’s rich musical heritage and iconic gathering places of the past like the West End’s Cotton Club, Nostalgia is an intimate, Black- and woman-owned wine and jazz lounge that blends culture, community and live entertainment.
It offers a curated selection of 40 wines with an emphasis on women- and minority-owned wineries and producers, alongside traditional and contemporary jazz and soul performances throughout the week. The bar opened in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, which Scott said ultimately benefited the business.
“Music is a universal language that brings people together across generations and backgrounds,” Scott said. “During the pandemic, it was one of the few things that connected us, and people kept coming back for that sense of community. Over the years, we’ve built a loyal following — not just because of the music, but because of the atmosphere and the people. We’ve had the same staff since day one, and our guests appreciate seeing familiar faces at the door and behind the bar. They know they’ll hear music they love and be welcomed by people who know them.”
The new B-Side room will function as both a dedicated listening room and private event venue. Designed as a place to connect and discover music, the space will host artist listening parties, intimate performances and community gatherings where guests can share and enjoy the music they love.
Meanwhile, the catering kitchen will enable Nostalgia to introduce flatbreads and other small bites to the menu. In addition, expanded patio space will better accommodate the lounge’s loyal community of cigar enthusiasts, while the end storefront will be transformed into a pool lounge that can also host private events.
“One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is seeing small businesses grow and thrive,” 3CDC’s EVP of Civic and Commercial Space Operations Christy Samad said in a statement. “Since opening, Nostalgia has become an important part of the fabric of Vine Street and OTR and its expansion reflects both the strength of the business and the demand for what it offers. We’re proud to be part of this next chapter and to see Tammie’s vision continue to grow.”
Construction on the expansion is expected to finish in early 2027. For more information on Nostalgia, visit the lounge’s Instagram page.
