Oakley Kitchen is permanently closing its food hall, according to an announcement on its website.
“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved with the Food Hall and the wonderful restaurants that have called it home over the years,” Oakley Kitchen’s Daniel McCarthy said in a statement. “Many restaurants and chefs across our region started their business at Oakley Kitchen Food Hall and we are grateful to each of them for enriching our community.”
The restaurants located in the food hall — Ya Kat Mein, Herban Vegans, Ruthless Pizza, Carnivore & Sons Cheesteaks and La Vida’s Everything’s Cooking — will remain open through Saturday, Nov. 30. Oakley Kitchen says its upstairs events space will remain open, and they have upgrades planned to help improve guest experience.
Oakley Kitchen opened in 2021 as a space for events, as well as a home for incubator kitchens where area chefs and food entrepreneurs could have the opportunity to develop their ideas, skills and products.
