A popular local pizza joint is expanding again with plans to open its sixth restaurant and its first one on the west side of Greater Cincinnati.
Strong’s Brick Oven Pizzeria made the announcement on Facebook Wednesday, writing, “Attention Strong’s Pizza family and fans. We are proud to announce…..Strong’s Brick Oven Pizzeria; West Side.”
While the Facebook post said details were coming soon and didn’t mention the location, Strong’s website shows they’ll be moving into the former Kenning’s Circle K at 6166 Bridgetown Road in Green Township. Kenning’s closed earlier this year after the owner retired.
“Thank you to our amazing family, to our outstanding staff members who work so hard, and to everyone who believes in the progress of this company. Thank you for making our Pizzeria a Tri-State treasure of a family owned small business. #6 Coming soon,” Strong’s wrote.
Strong’s is best known for its Old-World-Italian-style pizza that’s baked fresh in their brick ovens. They also offer salads, wings, hero sandwiches and an array of appetizers on the menu.
