A Northern Kentucky pizzeria is on the move. After 13 years, Strong’s Brick Oven Pizzeria will be relocating its flagship location in Newport, but it won’t be going far.

Strong’s announced on social media Tuesday that it will be moving from its spot at 336 Monmouth St. to the former JerZee’s Pub location, just down the street at 708 Monmouth. The pizzeria says the new location will offer more space, better parking and more room for live music. Its last day in the original location will Sunday, June 15.

“Thank you for all the love, laughs, and pizza over the years. Can’t wait to welcome you to our new home!” Strong’s wrote on Facebook.

Strong’s opened its first location in Newport in April 2012 and now has four other locations across Greater Cincinnati, including Union, Green Township, Reading and Lawrenceburg. The pizzeria is best known for its old-world-style pizzas that are baked fresh in rotating Italian brick ovens. It also consistently ranks as one of the top 10 local pizzerias in CityBeat‘s annual Best of Cincinnati Readers Poll.

Before the move, you can also catch Strong’s at The Best of NKY event on Thursday, June 12 at The Syndicate and Italianfest at Newport on the Levee this weekend (June 12-15).
