The food is phenomenal! We went twice within a week. The first time just to try it and the second to bring my family from out of town. We told them it’s a must try while they were visiting. We live about 25-30 min away but it’s one of our new favorite places to go in Kenwood. The appetizer and the platters for 2 or 4 were a nice variety of the menu and plenty of food. It all tasted very fresh. The chicken kebab the first time was dried out and a little hard. But the second time we went it was very good. So maybe it was just a off day the first time. Since I don’t know too much wine I went with a flight of wine. You get three two-ounce pours, which total one glass of wine. I picked the Jennifer Lawrence, which was a bubbly flight. I really enjoyed it. Next we ordered four different plates, which we quickly learned was a little too much for the two of us, but hey that’s why they gave boxes. Losanti 1401 Race St., Over-the-Rhine For devoted carnivores, steakhouse Losanti needs to be on your radar. The menu is heavily focused on its meats, especially the tender, juicy steaks: a filet mignon, ribeye and NY strip priced by the ounce. But don’t think the menu ends with red meat; there are also a variety of salads, pasta dishes and fish and chicken entrees to suit any appetite. The sides are traditional steakhouse, but elevated — truffle mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts with pancetta, charred onion mashed potatoes and more. To drink, indulge in one of their shaken or stirred cocktails, a martini or an old fashioned.
