In an announcement posted to their Instagram account, The Baker's Table said that they will be resurrecting their Saturday and Sunday brunch special starting in November. The brunch will include "key favorites from the Baker’s Table Bakery across the street, including sourdough breads, doughnuts and egg sandwiches, according to the bakery's Instagram post.
The restaurant will be hosting one of its special fall brunches at 10 a.m. on Nov. 5, "Bolognese Biscuit n Gravy." After that, beginning the weekend of Nov. 25 and 26, The Baker's Table will be serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., in addition to dinner service Monday through Saturday.
The Baker's Table will also be offering immersive cooking classes in their bakery, located across the street from the restaurant. The cooking classes are designed to teach participants how to make their own pizzas, pastas and breads. Currently, The Baker's Table is offering classes on creating sourdough pizza and sourdough bread.
In order to expand their current offerings, though, The Baker's Table Bakery will no longer be open to the public. The last day of public service was on Saturday, Oct. 28. The restaurant, located at 1004 Monmouth St., will remain open.
"While bittersweet as change always is, this evolution will allow us to better engage with our community, lift up our patrons, and help local businesses thrive," the restaurant said in the Instagram post. "This is a bit of an emotional moment for us as we'll miss our regulars and the history we've built with you all, however we're making room for so many new experiences we can share together."
