Are you a true Cincinnatian? Happening before Glier’s Goettafest on the Newport Riverfront (which takes place July 25-28 and Aug. 1-4) the Glier’s Goetta Pub Crawl peeks into the world of goetta-inspired alcohol.
The crawl starts at the Moerlein Lager House, with the tapping of an official goetta-inspired beer, brewed by Christian Moerlein. The lager features smoked malt and Glier’s oats.
From the Lager House, crawlers check in at the Glier’s Goetta Mobile Kitchen to receive a menu and a wristband to redeem drink specials and gotta concoctions at different locations including the AC Upper Deck, Galla Park, Jefferson Social and Tin Roof.
Make sure to pick up a “I Ran the Goetta Gauntlet” T-shirt and register to win a Yeti cooler fuller of goetta.
Proceeds benefit the Dragonfly Foundation, which assists pediatric cancer and bone marrow transplant patients and their families.
