This Cincinnati Vegan Cheese Brand is Offering Vegan and Gluten-Friendly Thanksgiving Meals

Cincinnati vegan cheese brand Mad Cheese is teaming up with a local meal delivery service and bakery to provide vegan and gluten-friendly meals this Thanksgiving.

Mad Cheese, plant-based meal service Juniper Seed and Beyond Grain Bakery, which specializes in low-carb, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free baked goods, have crafted a plant-based Thanksgiving menu that can feed four to six people. The entire Madly Thankful Thanksgiving Feast is $225, or you can order items a la carte.

The menu includes:

Madly Thankful Roast: A pea protein-based “turkey” roast featuring a crisp rice paper “skin” and gluten-free stuffing. ($50 a la carte; comes frozen)

Madly Good Gravy ($20 a la carte; comes frozen)

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Cinnamon Roasted Butternut Squash and Brussels (Contains pecans): Maple-roasted Brussels sprouts and spiced butternut squash

Green Bean Casserole: Fresh green beans in scratch-made gluten-free and vegan cream of mushroom soup

Cranberry Relish: Chopped fresh cranberries, apples and pecans

Orange Rolls and Herbed Butter (Contains wheat): Hand-rolled and twisted dinner knots served with fresh herb-infused butter.

Date Tahini Swirl Banana Cake (Contains sesame and almonds): Naturally sweetened date and banana cake with swirls of tahini

“Snickers” Tart (Contains peanuts): Vegan and gluten-friendly with peanuts, caramel and chocolate

Coordinate a la carte dessert pickup with Beyond Grain Bakery by emailing beyondgrainbakery@gmail.com.

You can either have your meal delivered in the Greater Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky area for $15 or pick it up from one of three locations:

• Mad Cheese (5903 1/2 Bramble Ave., Madisonville)
• Findlay Kitchen (1719 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine)
• Elevate NKY (2511 Anderson Road, Crescent Springs)

Pickup dates and time windows include 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 1-3 p.m. and 3-6 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, Nov. 20-22. Orders can be placed at madcheese.com until Thursday, Nov. 16 or sell out.
