Over-the-Rhine restaurant Wildweed, recently named one of Esquire’s best new restaurants in the country, is launching a new dinner series at the end of the month.
The pasta-centric eatery helmed by chef/owners David and Lydia Jackman is collaborating with East Nashville restaurant and wine bar Bad Idea’s chef Colby Rasavong and owner and sommelier Alex Burch for the launch of “In the Weeds.” The dinner will be held on Sunday, Jan. 26 from 5-10 p.m.
The dinner will feature dishes created by Jackman and Rasavong that blend Wildweed’s fresh, homemade pastas and local, foraged ingredients with exciting fare inspired by Rasavong’s Lao heritage. The tasting menu is $160 per person and is available at Wildweed’s 11-seat chef’s counter. Selections of the menu will be available on the dining room’s a la carte menu.
There will also be optional wine pairings curated by Burch available to purchase separately. The standard wine pairings are an additional $65, and the premium pairings will be $105.
Reservations for the first In the Weeds dinner can be made at Tock. Wildweed says it will announce more In the Weeds collaborations soon.
