Cincinnati’s hard-touring Rock band Electric Citizen are heading back out on the road next month. The extensive run of dates will take the quartet throughout Europe and includes slots at several music festivals, where they’ll perform alongside a variety of likeminded Hard Rock/Psych Rock/Stoner Rock/Metal acts from all over the world.
The band is touring behind its latest release on RidingEasy Records, Helltown. Last fall, in conjunction with Helltown‘s release, Electric Citizen toured North American as direct support for Monster Magnet.
The group’s music festival appearances begin on April 20 (aka 4/20) in the recreational-pot-friendly state of California. The band will perform at Los Angeles’ Psycho Smokeout festival, presented in conjunction with RidingEasy and featuring groups like Elder, Monolord, Amenra and many others.
Electric Citizen will then play in Brooklyn, New York as part of DesertFest, which runs April 26-28 and includes bands like Windhand, Weedeater, Black Cobra and many more.
On May 1 in Bristol, UK, the band begins a run of UK/European shows that includes the DesertFests in London and Berlin. Electric Citizen will also play Esbjerg Fuzztival in Denmark and the Muskelrock fest in Sweden, before wrapping up the road-trip in Copenhagen on June 1.
