It’s going to be super hot for this year’s Fourth of July festivities, including the big one in Northside, which includes the beloved parade on July 4 and the equally beloved Rock N’ Roll Carnival on July 3 and 4 at Hoffner Park. The Carnival showcases several of Cincinnati finest bands; visit northsiderocks.com for details.

If you need a break from the heat, nearby Urban Artifact (1660 Blue Rock St., Northside, artfiactbeer.com) will also have some great local acts (and a few touring artists) on Wednesday and Thursday — as well air conditioning.

Locals performing at UA’s Northside Rock ’N Roll Sideshow throughout the midweek faux-weekend include Lemon Sky, The Harlequins, Fyakey, Kaitlyn Peace, Anna Applegate, The Mimics, The Mad Hat Trio and Queen City Silver Stars. Check out the full sched below.
