Canadian singer Michael Bublé has once again changed the dates of his U.S. tour, including a stop in Cincinnati

The four-time Grammy Award winner has moved the Cincinnati show from Aug. 20 to Oct. 22 at Heritage Bank Center. Bublé noted in a release that the current surge in COVID-19 cases is what caused him to delay a part of his tour.

“I do not want to put my fans at risk, nor my band and crew, by putting them in a situation that could possibly affect their health and therefore their friends and family. It is better for me to reschedule these shows to a time when all of us are confident that we can relax and enjoy the show,” Bublé said.

Tickets for the new date are available for purchase now at ticketmaster.com and heritagebankcenter.com. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the Oct. 22 show.

The cancellation of Bublé’s concert comes less than a week after CityBeat reported that nearby counties in Ohio and Kentucky are considered “high” or “substantial” risk for COVID-19 as well as Kentucky’s 10% positivity rate, which is the state’s highest since June.

Originally, Bublé was scheduled to visit the Queen City on May 16, 2020, but Bublé canceled that show as the coronavirus took off. He’d rescheduled the date to March 20 this year, but again postponed the show to Aug. 20, making Bublé’s latest change his third postponement since the original date.

Since the original date of the concert, Bublé has released two songs, “Gotta Be Patient” alongside Sofia Reyes and Barenaked Ladies, and “Elita,” a song by Gary Barlow that features Bublé.

While Bublé has postponed his show until later this fall, there are a number of acts that are still scheduled to perform in Cincinnati over the late summer months.

In the meantime, while waiting for Bublé to finally arrive in the Queen City, check him out singing “I’m Your Man” live.
