There’s something freeing — almost infinite — about the start of summer. It’s the time we all come to associate with the end of one thing and the time between the next — when fun begins. The lineup of local music this June, which is much longer than this list allows, creates plenty of opportunity for that fun to begin and keep going. Jot this list down in your notebook, screenshot it or put it in your phone or on a piece of scrap paper like a key to adventure, nights out and discovery to enjoy the city and, hopefully, your summer. Here are just a few of CityBeat’s picks for shows to check out this June.
