Rap artist and entrepreneur Tech N9ne has announced an extensive U.S. tour in 2020 that will bring him back to Cincinnati in May.
Joined by special guest JellyRoll (as well as King I.S.O and Maez301), Tech N9ne is set to perform at Bogart’s on May 12.
Tickets go on sale next week via livenation.com.
In the biz since the early ’90s, the Kansas City rapper founded his label Strange Music 20 years ago; the label has been a dominant indie label force ever since.
An underground sensation, Tech N9ne made his name in part through his practice of enlisting numerous artists from the Hip Hop, Pop and Rock worlds for his recording projects.
His 2011 album All 6’s and 7’s featured contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Yelawolf, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Busta Rhymes and E-40, among others. That album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard album chart when it was released, as did 2015’s Special Effects, which had a guest list that included Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, 2 Chainz, Eminem and T.I. The Storm, released in 2016, featured appearances from Boyz II Men, Gary Clark, Jr. and Korn’s Jonathan Davis.
Tech N9ne’s 21st studio album, N9NA, was released in April.
Today Tech N9ne also released the music video for “Yeah No!” (featuring guest vocalist Mackenzie Nicole), one of the tracks on his recent EP, ENTERFEAR – Level 1. The prolific MC has another full-length scheduled for release in 2020.
