Rock legend Rod Stewart’s 21-date summer North American tour is coming to Cincinnati.
Stewart and fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick are set to perform at Riverbend Music Center on Sept. 4.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com.
This Friday is also Stewart’s birthday — the former Faces and Jeff Beck Group frontman turns 75 this year.
Last year marked Stewart’s 50th year as a solo artist. In November he released You’re In My Heart: Rod Stewart With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, a live album featuring orchestral versions of hits like “Forever Young,” “Young Turks” and “Maggie May.”
Stewart ended 2019 by making headlines for non-musical reasons. He and his son were reportedly charged with “simple battery” after allegedly punching a security guard at a New Year’s Eve event.
