Live music lovers are beginning to see a hint of post-pandemic normalcy returning to their lives as performance announcements have begun making headlines across the nation.

Locally, Riverbend Music Center has publicized some anticipated shows for 2021, as has the forthcoming Andrew J Brady ICON Music Center at The Banks.

And up in the Dayton Metro area, Rose Music Center announced that beloved Rockers REO Speedwagon will return to the venue this summer on Friday, July 30.

“REO Speedwagon has sold more than 40 million albums around the globe, and Cronin and bandmates Bruce Hall (bass), Neal Doughty (keyboards), Dave Amato (guitar), and Bryan Hitt (drums) are still electrifying audiences worldwide in concert with hits and fan-favorites such as ‘In Your Letter,’ ‘Can’t Fight This Feeling,’ ‘Time For Me To Fly,’ ‘Roll With The Changes,’ the aforementioned ‘Keep On Loving You’ and ‘Take It On the Run,’ and many, many more,” a release from Rose Music Center reads.

The group played sold-old shows in both 2018 and 2019 at the concert venue.

The band will also play at Louisville’s Iroquois Amphitheater on July 25 and Fort Wayne, Indiana’s Foelinger Theatre on July 31.

Tickets for the Ohio performance will go on sale starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 30 via ticketmaster.com and at the Rose Music Center box office

Rose Music Center is located at 6800 Executive Blvd., Huber Heights.
