As fans are abuzz with excitement over the new season of TV guessing-game The Masked Singer — which premiered last week — last night on the show it was announced that there will be a nationwide Masked Singer tour this summer.
The tour kicks off May 28 in Detroit, then comes to Cincinnati’s Taft Theatre May 29.
What to expect from a Masked Singer tour? Per a press release: “Audiences can expect to see their favorite characters brought to life onstage, as well as surprise celebrity guests, amazing new performances and a can’t-miss spectacular live show for audiences of all ages.” The tour’s website states that “a mystery celebrity will be unmasked in every city.”
The website also says that there will be two (as yet unnamed) celebrity hosts on the tour who appeared as Masked Singers on the TV program, “as well as a surprise local celebrity in each city” (who wants to bet it will be a Lachey brother?). The show is slated to run two hours, with an intermission.
