Comments: An abandoned job trailer sits slowly decomposing on the vacant lot at 2136 St. Michaels St., sandwiched between an abandoned building and a residence.
William Cohn of the city of Cincinnati’s Buildings and Inspection Division says his office has issued an order to remove the trailer. The order was issued March 28 to Meansco Investments, LLC of North Bend, OH, owners of the property at 2134 St. Michaels St.
City inspectors posted a copy of the order on the trailer. The city has received no response, according to Cohn.
On April 30 inspectors noted the trailer is still there and sent a final notice May 1, warning of a possible civil citation and fine.
The city’s records did not shed light on the cause of the discrepancy between the street numbers and owners’ identities.Cohn says he would contact the appropriate inspectors to investigate.
