Students at Over-the-Rhine’s Art Academy of Cincinnati are slated to return to in-person learning for their spring semester, starting Jan. 19.

They spent the fall semester blending in-person and online options.

A press release says, “The Art Academy is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all community members. The collective goal is to enable everyone to work, learn, and live in the safest place possible while acknowledging that the threat of COVID-19 continues.

“To prepare for a safe return, the Art Academy, in consultation with public health experts, updated its Success and Wellness Plan to include mandatory testing for all faculty, staff, and students before their arrival on campus.”

The school hosted a free pop-up COVID testing site for students at Crossroad Health Center in OTR on Jan. 15 to help prepare for the return.
