As part of the CAC’s 75th anniversary season, museum administrators have been looking for new and unexpected ways to engage with the public. With that aim in mind, they’ve enlisted artist Pam Kravetz: a one-woman whirlwind of charisma and creativity who worked as a docent at the museum in the early ’80s and has her own “life-changing” memories associated with the institution. Kravetz will engage her audience in an art historical quiz game/live television show that involves a handmade “Wheel of Art History,” music by local musicians and Kravetz’s guest interviewer/marionette puppet alter ego, “Jingle Bells Yosemite.”
This is just the first of three shows put on by Kravetz, leading up to the opening of Memory Palace in mid-September.
