The Clifton Cultural Arts Center hosts a group show, but there’s room for discussion, curated by multi-media artist Justin West and Chase Public’s executive director Scott Holzman. The exhibit features a dozen local artists and prioritizes the audience’s experience of art as much as the artists’ intentions. Visitors at the opening reception are encouraged to share their impressions of the work with a team of poets from Chase Public, who will then turn those interactions into poetry. Carbon copies of those poems will be on display for the duration of the show. Participating multi-disciplinary artists include Chelsea Borgman, Lizzy DuQuette, Tyler Hamilton and Cody Gunningham.
Opening reception: 6-9 p.m. Thursday. Through Jan. 7. Free. 3711 Clifton Ave., Clifton, cliftonculturalarts.org.
