Few local galleries do as much to cultivate the future careers of emerging artists or cast as wide of a net in their reach for those with talent as Manifest Gallery in East Walnut Hills. On Friday, the gallery will host a public reception for its two current artists-in-residence: Christina Weaver (Birmingham, Ala.) and Taylor Woolwine (Williamstown, W.Va.). Both artists will have their studio spaces open to the public during the reception. Manifest will also host the opening of their eighth annual Master Pieces exhibition, which features works by 28 current or recent graduate students from 15 states.
