ArtWorks, the region’s masters of public art, employed 12 high school and college students (called “apprentices” because they’re paid) to work with local design and advertising firms to create 30 large pieces of art around the theme of “Green.” The artwork has been transferred to canvas and is being displayed at Mount Airy Forest.
