Greg Morton’s most popular bit by far is his Star Wars reenactment, in which he does a mini-promo of the saga, complete with character voices and sound effects. Where most comedians end with their signature bit, Morton often starts with it. “That’s how I figure out where the crowd is at,” he says from his home in Toronto. 


His entire set is filled with all sorts of silliness brought to life by his animated stage presence, so it should come as no surprise that he once worked in animation, helping to create several Saturday morning cartoons. “I kind of liken myself to a human cartoon,” he says. “I always wanted to do one-person skits and that’s kind of what my show is.”
