The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency is hosting a Utilities Resources Fair, aimed to help people lower their gas, electric and water bills, on May 19.
Local nonprofits and government agencies will be on hand with tips for keeping bills down and resources for people struggling to pay existing bills. There will be speakers from 10-11:15 a.m. and tables with resources. The event is free, and registration is not required.
The fair will take place at the Community Action Agency, 1740 Langdon Farm Road, on the second floor from 9 a.m. to noon.
“Utility bills are already high, and they’re going to get worse, right as we’re going into the summer,” said Matt Strauss, housing policy advocate at the CAA. “This event will connect utility customers with programs and tips for keeping their bills from getting out of control.”
