Founded in 2006, Streetfilms produces short films showing how smart transportation design and policy can result in better places to live, work and play. In cities all over the world, ordinary people are utilizing technology to bring change to the places they know and love. Filmmakers and enthusiasts are no exception here in the Queen City. Taking place at Emery Theatre, the Cincinnati Streetfilms Film Festival and Party will showcase films submitted by locals as well as some from the Streetfilms organization. Cocktails and beer, ice cream and popcorn will be available. Free. 8:30 p.m., Thursday May 31. Emery Theatre, 1112 Walnut St., Over-the-Rhine.
