For the 39th delicious year, the Panegryi Greek festival takes over the grounds of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Finneytown for the entire weekend. With authentic Greek food, imported Greek wine, Greek music, Greek dancing and rides, start the evening with a gyro, grab a class of Sitia Crete White and end it with a baklava sundae.
Inside the main hall will be everyone’s favorite bake sale where guests can buy all the homemade pastries they can handle, stuffing boxes with galaktobouriko, kataifi, koulourakia, kourambiethes and more. There will also be folk dancers onstage, traditional Greek music by George Karras, raffles for trips to Greece, a Greek shopping area, rides and games.
5-11 p.m. Friday; 3-11 p.m. Saturday; 1-8 p.m. Sunday. $2. 7000 Winton Road, Finneytown, 513-591-0030, holytrinity.oh.goarch.org/92.html.
