If you’re put off from professional dance by all the formality associated with it, Cincinnati Ballet’s “Ballet & Beer” events might win you over. The come-as-you-are event (wear a T-shirt if you want) welcomes the public in to watch Cincinnati Ballet dancers rehearse. Visitors can also snack on hors d’oeuvres and mingle over drinks.
The event is free but by reservation only. If spots are filled up, you can request to be put on a waiting list. “Ballet & Beer” is held on Thursdays one week before opening night at 5:15 p.m.
